THE DELGADOS BLUES BAND
WE'VE GOT THE BLUES
Mike Moran guitarist is truly missed, was a native of Cleveland Ohio. Mike also sang lead and background vocals. Mike was the strong beacon of the rhythm section, with his metronomic style of background rhythm. Kevin Moran, Guitarist, is also a native  Clevelander. Kevin is multi-talented - he plays Harmonica and Slide Guitar and sings lead and background vocals as well. The  Delgados have been appearing in nightclubs over the past 25 years in Cleveland and the surrounding suburbs.
Richard Smith, Bassist and background vocalist, is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Richard has a rich history of performing with Gospel, R&B, Blues and Jazz Artist all over the world. Richard has played the electric Bass for well over 40 years. He has performed with names such as: The Mighty Clouds of Joy, Jackie "Mom's" Mabley, Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes, The Vibrations, Mary Wells, BB King, A Robert Lockwood, Jr Alumni, Wallace Coleman,  Nina Simone, Gil Scott Heron, Martha Revees & the Vandellas just to name a few. Rob Williams

Saxophonist and flutist Rob Williams got his start playing in jazz and rock bands in his native California. Well-versed in many styles, Williams joined the band Irie, which specialized in various styles of island music, including calypso, soca, ska, and reggae. Williams moved to Cleveland with the reggae band First Light. Ten years ago, he formed his own band, the Afro-Cleveland Orchestra. The band’s repertoire is an eclectic mix of many styles. Its members are all top level Cleveland jazz, blues, funk, rock, and salsa musicians. Williams’ arranging techniques shine in his ability to create new versions of standard tunes by subtle reworking of melody, harmony, and instrumentation. In addition to the ACO, Williams has performed and recorded with the Swing Lizards, a rock/jump swing band, and with the Mike Petrone Quartet. He can be heard on Petrone’s CDs as well as two movie soundtracks. Williams is also a member of the Jazz Alive Quartet, an educational performance group sponsored by Young Audiences of Greater Cleveland. He teaches private instruction at the Fairmount School of Music.
